Jonathan Cain of the iconic rock band Journey was early in his career and ready to give up when he called his father for advice. His father said three words to Jonathan that have since become immortalized as us one of the most beloved songs in history, “Don’t Stop Believin'”. What happens to you when you start believing? For one, you begin to believe the promises of God, such as the one in Isaiah 55. God promises when you draw near to Him that your outlook will change. “You shall go out with Joy and be lead forth in peace. the mountains and hills shall break forth into singing before you.” Remember this the next time that Journey song comes on the radio.
