Behold!

“Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, the whole earth is full of his glory.” Isaiah 6:3

Isaiah describes a vision. The Lord, seated on a throne, the train of his robe completely filling a temple. Above the throne are two flying seraphim, each with six wings triumphantly proclaiming “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God almighty” Isaiah’s response?

“My Eyes Have Seen The King”

You may be thinking that you have never beheld such a scene. I believe you, and Jesus realizes this in John 20 where He says, “Because you have seen Me you believe. Blessed are those who have not seen, and have believed.” Faith is believing in that which you have not seen. Such faith comes with blessings. You may not have seen all that you read about in the Bible, but live a life of faith and you will be amazed at what you do see.

Wonderful Things

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” Isaiah 64:4 (and repeated in 1 Corinthians 2:9)

This is one great promise from God, layered with incredible anticipation. Just take a moment and look at a sunset, or loved one, or anything in God’s beautiful creation. Now drink in these words from Isaiah 64 that your eyes have not seen, nor can you imagine,

All The Wonderful Things God Has In Store For you!

That’s why in Faith, everyday, believe the best is yet to come.

Miracle Working Power

God said, “concerning the work of My hands, you command Me” Isaiah 45:11

If we truly understood the miracle working power available at the tip of our tongue, we would never stop praying. Have you ever stopped to think how seriously God takes prayer? To God, prayer is not just something He asks in hopes that we will do it. No, God takes prayer so seriously that He actually says, “Concerning the works of My hands,

Command Me”

Unfortunately, it is us who do not lift prayer to this level. Perhaps that the answer. Paul understood this for he was the one who said, “Pray without ceasing”. Are you ready for a miracle? Start praying, and don’t stop.

In Good Hands

“Seek first the kingdom of God…and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

We are enamored with the future, so much so that it shapes and overshadows living today. Jesus addresses this head on in Matthew 6 where he instructs us not to worry about tomorrow, for today has enough troubles of its own. The plain truth is,

Your Tomorrow Is In Good Hands.

Jesus said, seek first the kingdom of God and all that we worry about will be taken care of. God’s prescription for joyful living is simple. “Love the Lord with all your heart, and love your neighbor as yourself”. Strive for this every day then watch how the needs you spend so much time worrying about suddenly get taken care of.

Choose Joy

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Joy is a choice we make, but quite frankly it should be as easy as breathing. As our scripture says today, rejoice always, pray continually and give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for us. So many ask me, “what’s God’s will for my life.” The answer is,

Live Joyfully!

When you live your life filled with joy you brighten the world of everyone you meet. More than that you will actually fulfill the two great commandments; to Love God, and to love one another. Think about it, you can’t have joy without love in your heart, and you can’t love without being joyful. Choose joy today, for all the world to see.

Extraordinary

“How many are your works, Lord! In wisdom you made them all” Psalm 104:25

With all of our collective wisdom we still do not understand what makes a heart beat or unlocked the mysteries of the human mind. We look at God’s creation and gaze in wonder at how a mountain, let alone the delicate flower that resides on its slopes, were made.

In Wisdom, God Created

Throughout Psalm 104 David reminds us of the incredible works of God, and that in wisdom He made it all, including you and I. Indeed, we are His handiwork, each of us extraordinary in our own way, and designed for a purpose. Amazing to think that while you may be as delicate as a flower, God has given you the ability move mountains. For as Jesus said to us in Matthew 17, “If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed you can say to this mountain move, and it will move, and nothing will be impossible to you.”

Something Wonderful

Jesus said, “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” John 15:7

A water glass isn’t much good until you pour something in. We are not so different. Just like that empty water glass our lives can be dry and lifeless until we fill it with something wonderful like friendship, love, and laughter. But dare to have the faith to go a little further and bring Jesus into your life, only then will you have a front row seat as

Something Wonderful Happens

Hope will replace fear. Love will replace anger. Courage will replace cowardice. For when Jesus says, “If you remain in me and my words remain in you”, He’s simply giving you life altering directions that lead to a remarkable promise: “Ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you”.

All Things Are Possible

God said, “For I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.” Jeremiah 1:12

There are a myriad of scripture verses that point to overcoming the impossible, many of which have been pointed out in these posts over the past few years. Faith on our part enters when we read Jesus words in Matthew 19:26, where He says,

“With God All Things Are Possible”

This statement from Jesus is further amplified when we let today’s quote from Jeremiah 1:12 sink in to our minds. For God Himself says, “I am active and alert, watching over My word to perform it.” In other words, God means what he says. If He said it, if He promised it, He will be faithful to complete it!

Worth The Wait

“I WAITED patiently for the Lord and He inclined to me; And He heard my cry.” Psalm 40:1

David, author of the Psalms spilled a lot if ink crying out to God for Help. I can relate for I too have spent more than my share of time seeking God’s intervention for a very long laundry list of trials. Yet mixed in with all of his pleadings, David

Takes Time To Praise God

Then in Psalm 40 David declares, with an all capital letters emphasis, that he WAITED for the Lord and eventually the breakthrough came. The breakthrough did not come in David’s desired timing but in God’s perfect timing. Do yourself a favor today and practice the art of waiting patiently for the Lord.

Finely Crafted

God said, “Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand.” Jeremiah 18:6

There is a wondrous, amazing love that God has for us. He created us, then immediately gave to us a remarkable freedom. He gave to us free will. We can choose the life we wish to lead. We can choose faith, or we can choose not to believe. Yet something remarkable happens when we chose faith. We have this incredible opportunity to,

Have Our Lives Crafted By Our Creator

Over and over again in scripture, God says, if we will let Him, He will mold us, and shape us, and use us in remarkable ways we never thought possible.
