“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8
The question of the day, is it foolish to fear the future when we live in the care of our Heavenly Father? Jesus said many times in scripture ‘do not fear’, so why do we do so? I’ve often asked myself that question. Then I read 2 Corinthians 9:8 and am instantly reminded that my Heavenly Father is wealthy beyond imagination. He alone holds the power of life and death, and owns the cattle on a thousand hills. This same God calls us His children, His beloved – His thoughts toward us are precious.
What Have I To Fear?
As it turns out, absolutely nothing! Now, I’ve not perfectly mastered giving up fear, but let’s just say it’s a work in progress and I get better at it every day. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart…and he will make your path straight”. Proverbs 3:5-6.
