“God gives his beloved sleep.” Psalm 127:2

Filing our days with work and play is encouraged and celebrated, even to the point of exhaustion. Rest has become a foreign concept to us. And yet, scripture tells us that

God Gives His Beloved Sleep.

There is an inherent value in peaceful sleep, and letting our minds be still while the Almighty refreshes us in ways we did not think were possible. Remember, Psalm 23 also says to us “He (God) leads us beside the still waters.” Sleep good tonight.
