“He calms the storm” Psalm 107:29

Many decades ago Jeff Lynne, founder of the famed 70’s and 80’s band the Electric Light Orchestra was searching for a new set of hit songs to record. In his efforts he traveled to Switzerland for inspiration and spent time in a cabin hoping for lighting to strike. For days on end the the skies were cloudy and gloomy to the point that he felt more depressed than inspired. Then one day the skies parted and he awoke to beautiful clear blue skies. Lynne’s hit song “Mr. Blue Sky” then only took him about thirty minutes to write. “Sun is shining in the sky, there ain’t no cloud in sight.
