Many years ago when my wife and I both lost our jobs on the same day, we went home and did a victory lap in our kitchen! We both believed that God had something new in store for us and decided to exercise our faith and trust Him. He did have something new for us. He always does. That’s why Philippians tells us:
Rejoice, and then rejoice again!
Philippians also goes on to say why we can rejoice in all circumstances. “Be anxious for nothing,” it says, “but in everything by prayer, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
