Supply

19th Century English minister Charles Spurgeon once said, “We have all things and abound; not because I have a good store of money in the bank, not because I have skill and wit with which to win my bread, but because the Lord is my Shepherd.”

God Is Our Supply

We don’t always know what we really need in life, but God does. There’s a trust factor that has to be implemented in our lives in order for us to be truly satisfied and fulfilled. Trust that God, who knows you better than you know yourself, has your best interest in mind every minute of every hour of every day. Perhaps that’s why Jesus when he taught us how to pray puts “Thy (God’s) will be done” at the top of the list of things for us to ask for.

Our Movements Can Affect Those Around Us

When your feet carry you into a room do they bring with them joy, peace and contentment, or do they bring heartache and discouragement. Romans 10:15 reminds us of what the Old Testament Prophet named Isaiah once said that living out our faith is living a life of peace and glad tidings, and carrying those beautiful sentiments to all we meet. Living such an optimistic life is easy when we know how much our Creator loves and cares for us.

There You Are

“Where can I go from Your spirit, or where can I flee from Your presence?” Psalm 139:7

Sometimes life throws things at us that we simply do not expect. We use the term ‘blindsided’, but that hardly describes the darkness or pain we feel as though we’d just been run over, either physically or emotionally, or both. From such a dark place we wonder, which way to turn. Yet in such times there is a Psalm that perfectly describes what we are going through, and at the same time gently reminds us that

God Is Always With Us.

“Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.  If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me.” God is not missing, He is always with you.
